Red Wing Shoes began with the intention of creating the very best work boots. Charles Beckman, a master cobbler in Red Wing, Minnesota, set out to create a boot that would offer supreme protection to people who worked in the oil field and iron mines nearby.
Today we combine some of the same time-tested design principles from the early 1900’s with modern technological advancements in material and construction to create the very best work footwear.
Before any of our work boots make it to the store, the designs are submitted to independent testing facilities where they undergo an absolutely brutal series of quality tests to ensure they hold up. The ones that make the grade end up on the feet of workers across the world. The ones that don’t never make it to production.
You can find CSA approved work boots in the Red Wing, Irish Setter, and WORX lines.
